"it's our last hoo-rah, the final Sing Song!!!!"

so my "no-graduation" scare is officially over. thanks to the always wonderful Nuria, i'm back on track and just short one graduate class. and guess what? when i got to choose which class to drop to undergrad, i chose the one with less homework. how crazy am i? but i really like the other one and i don't want to have to take a midterm, writing a few papers sounds better. and i'd rather do Medieval Brit Lit now with Rankin rather than wait and do it with some guy i don't like and who's not as fun...or even likable at all. anyways, my scare is over and i'm totally free and clear to graduate in may. and now to the important stuff: Sing Song! it's finally here. after a great first win in "Audience Favorite", the senior class was a little put out to only get 2nd in "Originality". i mean, really, the freshman class may have a lot of people and be really loud, but everyone says they also can't be understood. so how do they win originality? because they have bright costumes? did we just happen to get judges who are easily distracted by bright colors or something last night? i mean, come on, we're in purple and white for ACU's sake! it's the school colors! they're in mustard yellow with weird khaki vests with colored triangles on the front. we have yoda, leia, chewbacca, and DARTH VADER!!! how do you beat that? and we have a fight scene complete with light saber noises done by us. and the awesomenest video ever!!! and we have the "Centennial Falcon", get it? the Millenium Falcon meets the Centennial class of ACU and we have "The Centennial Falcon." it's hilarious and smart. who could resist? apparently the dee-dee-dee judges last night. whoever they were, they were blind, deaf, and decidedly dee-dee-dee! but it's okay. we're going to win today, both times! we're to win the whole shebang. screw those stupid munchkins! they can't beat the FORCE!!!! "I--I just found out Darth is my dad; / the dark force runs through my veins. / Leia and I made out, oh-- no. / I--I really want to know why / George Lucas wants to ruin my life? / Is it really worth being a Jedi? / The Pain I Can't Deny!!!!" Centennial Senior Class Sing Song all the way! Jedi's are going rock the house tonight!!! side bar-we didn't win! we were totally robbed. the judges were indeed complete dee-dee-dees. and does it seem a little weird to anyone but me that one of the judges was the guy who directed the act upon which this year's freshman act was based? umm...sounds like a whopping case of bias to me! our act was so much better, even when watching the video it's apparent. and btw, the sing song video was kinda sucky, especially for how much it cost and how long it took to make (seriously? it took you from february 'till may to make a dvd? i don't buy it). what, you couldn't even put in a menu page so we could skip to the parts we wanted to watch? seriously? we did that on our swing cats dvds and we don't have half the money sing song has...or the manpower. what's up with that?
